MarketStance wanted to develop a commercial product that provides forecasting and analytical reports using business intelligence technologies. Based on the company’s headline product suite, MarketStance, the new product required user-friendly, intuitive screens to broaden its market to “point and click” users.

Summit Technologies joined the MarketStance team to provide design and development expertise for MarketStance's SMART Report Writer. Summit created an intuitive graphic user interface for client non-standard and non-networked workstations. Because deployment issues were of the utmost importance, Summit tested the software and installation on multiple platforms. Summit also implemented an installation process that integrated the user interface, code base, and third-party tools. A full user help system was also created by Summit to support the SMART Report Writer.
