Summit Technologies offered its full software lifecycle and information security expertise to deliver security software solutions under budget, on time, and within scope. These solutions utilized a web based and integrated client-server based software module which provided customers the ability to identify and manage security risks as well as report on their policies and gap analysis related to federally mandated regulations and industry standards. Utilizing industry standard methodologies for risk score calculation and mappings (NIST, COBIT, ISO17799), these solutions were sold nationally to assist institutions in achieving HIPAA security compliance as well as provide a risk assessment to be used to SOX and GLBA compliance. Summit also developed Askua's eCommerce and software upgrade internet web sites to automate software purchasing, maintenance, and the license renewal process.
