L-3 Communications Corporation is a leading supplier of a broad
range of products and services used in a substantial number of
aerospace and defense platforms. They are also a major supplier
of systems, subsystems and products on many platforms, including
those used for secure networked communications and communication
products, mobile satellite communications, information security
systems, shipboard communications, naval power systems, missiles
and munitions, telemetry and instrumentation and airport security
systems. Customers include the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)
and its prime contractors, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security
(DHS), U.S. Government intelligence agencies, major aerospace and
defense contractors, allied foreign government ministries of defense,
commercial customers and certain other U.S. federal, state and
local government agencies.

Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV) is a
field activity of the United States Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
NAVEODTECHDIV is a unique support activity administered by the U.S. Navy and
utilized by all the Armed Services who work together to determine Joint
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) requirements.
Summit Technologies, Inc. provided IT systems support and web development for
the NAVEODTECHDIV. Summit’s deliverables included the development of a Security
Technical Implementation web site and securing/hardening all web servers. Summit
also delivered project based schedules for the Conduct Change Control Board’s
meeting with the government’s customer for website modifications and improvements.
Documentation of the software requirements and specifications for additional planned
website projects were completed. Software component developments for complex
application features were developed in accordance to project plans, including change
management and version control. Provided graphic design services in an on-demand
environment. Trained site personnel in the proper use of IT hardware and software,
and provide computer support in a networked environment.
