Citizens Financial Group, Inc. is a $160 billion commercial bank holding company.
It is headquartered in Providence, R.I., and, through its subsidiaries, has more
than 1,600 branches, more than 3,500 ATMs and more than 24,000 employees. Its two
bank subsidiaries are RBS Citizens, N.A. and Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania. They
operate a 13-state branch network under the Citizens Bank brand in Connecticut,
Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode
Island and Vermont, and the Charter One brand in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and
Ohio. CFG has non-branch retail and commercial offices in about 40 states. It is
one of the 10 largest commercial banking companies in the United States ranked by
assets and deposits. CFG is owned by RBS (The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc).

Citizen's Bank acquired various retail banking facilities in the North America. The
bank wanted to quickly rebrand and standardize over 1,500 facilities and operations,
including various desktops environments into a standardized desktop environment in a
three week period. A large contingent of multi-vendor consultants would be deployed
during non-business hours to conquer this task. The bank needed to develop, manufacture
and test over 2,500 images on compact disks that would be utilized for standardize the
desktop and test connectivity into Citizen's Bank's wide-area network.
Summit was engaged by HP to manufacture and test
over 2,500 compact disks that would be utilized to standardize the
newly acquired desktop environments. Summit utilized high-speed
imaging technologies to manufacture and test each compact disk for
field use. This included burning, labeling and distribution of the
disks per the customer's requirement for a multi-state, multi-site
deployment.
Over 1,500 acquired bank branches were rebranded by
Citizens Bank with new standardized desktop images provided by
Summit. Following the desktop standardization, sites successfully
connected into Citizens Bank wide area network for both daily bank
operations and remote monitoring. |
