Summit Technologies, Inc. has employment opportunities for a Senior Systems Test Engineer to work out of our Mclean, VA office with occasional local travel. The position requires that you be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret clearance.

• Must have at least 7 years of systems engineering experience preferably with the DoD.
• Must have at least 5 years of system testing, evaluation, and implementation experience in a large enterprise environment.
• Must have at least 3 years of security and information assurance experience.
• Should have knowledge of DISA STIGS, Retina scanning, security testing.
• Should be proficient in operating systems such as Windows 2008 R2, Linux, Solaris.
• Should have experience with databases, directory services, web services, reporting.
• Should have expert knowledge in at least one security solution (HIPS, SOA, Encryption, Threat Analysis, Forensics, PKI, Single Sign On, Identity Management).
• Familiarity with Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) highly desirable.
• Must be able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT/IAM cert such as Security+, CISSP, CISM, GSLC.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret

Will be required to pass a thorough background investigation, including possibly a credit check and drug screening.
