Summit Technologies, Inc. has permanent employment opportunities for Sr Application Developer to work in Arlington, VA. The positions require that you be a permanent resident of the U.S.

• Must be considered an expert in JEE technology, application architecture, design and system integration.
• Responsible for the proper design of public facing, mission critical, large scale applications to meet functional, performance, reliability, and availability requirements.
• Perform complex software design activities integrating multiple technologies and COTS products.
• Must lead the design and development teams in the proper application of system designs for current and future technologies.
• Will be responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technological activities.
• Requires 9+ years of experience in software development and design.
• 7+ years of experience in Design and Architect applications using JEE Architecture, SOA, cloud, and COTS integration
• 5+ years of experience using open source software solutions such as: Struts, Spring, MyEclipse, and Hibernate
• 5+ years of experience in Design and Modeling using UML and Unified Process
• 5+ Experience with Sybase, JBoss, Oracle
• Desired: LifeRay, Hudson Continuous Integration, Savion BPMS, SOA Software (Backplane)
• Education: Masters degree plus 12 years experience in System or Software Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Will be required to pass a thorough background investigation, including possibly a credit check and drug screening.
