Summit Technologies, Inc. has multiple permanent employment opportunities for Citrix Engineers with enterprise experience. These full-time positions are located in Washington, DC.  .NET Developer to work in Washington, DC. This challenging user environment consists of 500+ heterogeneous server environment supporting 15,000+ users worldwide. These positions require a minimum of an active DoD Secret clearance.

Job Description: The successful candidate(s) will assist in operating and maintenance support, of a large-scale state-of-the-Citrix enterprise platform from the existing Citrix environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide maintenance and provisioning support for a large Citrix XenDesktop environment and building out a large Citrix XenApp environment.
• Install, configure, and manage Citrix Access Gateway appliances
• Manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot, and optimize Citrix solution presently in place while making suggestion and adjustments to needs in the future
• Manage and troubleshoot multiple large Citrix farms.
• Develop and maintain Citrix-related standards, policies and procedures.
• Plan, design, implement, and continuously improve disaster recovery procedures for Citrix systems.
• Maintain knowledge base of all implementations on best practice procedures for Citrix and the related infrastructures
• Conduct ongoing Citrix technology assessments, research new Citrix related products and features, and develop cost effective recommendations and plans for optimizing the Citrix environment.
• Support a wide variety of devices to connect to Citrix including smart phones, tablets, and non-firm assets.
• Provide on-site and remote consulting services to clients around virtualization technologies
• Follow change control and documentation processes
• Review and complete assigned helpdesk tickets
  

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience implementing and supporting XenDesktop v5.0 or v5.5
• Experience implementing and supporting XenApp v5.0 – v6.5
• Must have in-depth engineering knowledge of Windows 2000/ 2003, 2008+ including, Active Directory, group policy,
• Experience with Virtual Desktop (VDI), VMware; VMware View desired.
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, basic firewall practices, etc.)
• Experience in Citrix integration with Active Directory with understanding of Group Policy.
• Solid experience in building, configuring, and administering Citrix XenApp, Citrix Access Gateway Appliances, Citrix Netscalers, Citrix Web Interface
• Must have 6-8+ years of experience with TIER III support in an enterprise environment.
  Ability to work in fast-paced team environments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with superior troubleshooting skills
  

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree and 8 years experience or equivalent working experience in lieu of degree is required.
• Technical certification is preferred (CCA Citrix Certified Administrator or CCEA Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator and/or MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer).
• These positions require a DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance
• Only United States Citizens will be considered for these opportunities
